Hot Honey Chicken Meatballs

Hot honey chicken meatballs in glaze, garnished with parsley, beside a jar of ALSHIFA Natural Honey

Sweet heat, done right. These air-fryer chicken meatballs get tossed in a quick hot honey glaze — pure ALSHIFA honey, apple cider vinegar, and a kick of chili. Ready fast, gone faster.

Ingredients

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons Korean chili pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Scallions, sliced, for garnish

For the Hot Honey

Directions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, chili flakes, and salt. Roll into 16 one-inch meatballs and place in the air fryer.
  3. Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. While the meatballs cook, combine the ALSHIFA honey, vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a microwave-safe dish and heat for 1 1/2 minutes.
  5. Toss the cooked meatballs with the hot honey and scallions. Serve immediately.

Tip: Dip your fingers in cold water as you roll the meatballs — it keeps them from sticking. No air fryer? Bake on a sheet pan at 375°F for 10–12 minutes.
