Sweet heat, done right. These air-fryer chicken meatballs get tossed in a quick hot honey glaze — pure ALSHIFA honey, apple cider vinegar, and a kick of chili. Ready fast, gone faster.
Ingredients
For the Meatballs
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 teaspoons Korean chili pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- Scallions, sliced, for garnish
For the Hot Honey
- 1/2 cup ALSHIFA Natural Honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, chili flakes, and salt. Roll into 16 one-inch meatballs and place in the air fryer.
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- While the meatballs cook, combine the ALSHIFA honey, vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a microwave-safe dish and heat for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Toss the cooked meatballs with the hot honey and scallions. Serve immediately.
Tip: Dip your fingers in cold water as you roll the meatballs — it keeps them from sticking. No air fryer? Bake on a sheet pan at 375°F for 10–12 minutes.
